Memorial Day Weekend

To kick off the summer we went on our first of many trips. We have a lot planned for the summer so my blog will probably be about all our travels. For Memorial Day weekend we went to Lake Fork Texas. Es dad just moved there. To me it's pretty much the middle of nowhere, but to all people who LOVE to fish...it's a "little slice of heaven!" It's northeast of here, about 2 hours from us. As Papa Larry says, "we're neighbors now!" Anyways so we spent the weekend there. Es bro Jerod and his wife Sybil and thier new baby Abby came,too. It was really fun. The guys took the boat out and fished a lot. We also cooked fish, ate fish, went out to AJs Fish House and talked about who caught the biggest fish...it was a big fish-loving weekend!! But we also sat around the camp fire most nights talking and hanging out (which is more my style...don't like to catch, look at, smell or eat fish!). Everyone had a blast. The boys smothered Abby with love...Lila Grace got a break for once! We all did a lot and were usually exhausted by the end of the day.
